The Challenge
The main challenge of the Quouch App Redesign was to balance aesthetic appeal and usability while adhering to the Material Design guidelines. The previous interface lacked consistency and felt cluttered, making navigation cumbersome for users.
The Solution
The solution was to adopt a Material Design approach to create a clean, modern, and intuitive interface. I focused on the following key aspects: Consistent Visual Language: Applied Material Design principles to ensure uniformity across all screens, including consistent typography, color schemes, and spacing. Improved Navigation: Implemented a bottom navigation bar and floating action buttons to make key actions easily accessible. Streamlined User Flows: Redesigned core flows such as booking, searching, and itinerary management to minimize steps and reduce cognitive load. Enhanced Visual Hierarchy: Used elevation and shadow effects to create depth and distinguish interactive elements from static content. Responsive Components: Designed adaptive layouts that work seamlessly on various screen sizes and orientations.

The new design not only looks more modern and appealing but also significantly improves usability and user engagement.
